At a recent workshop, it was surprising how many investors believed they were going to lose their negative gearing benefits.
 
So here’s a short snippet from Bill Shorten confirming negative gearing will remain in place for current property investors and should Labour come into power; Negative gearing will be available on new builds.
 
Interestingly though. He goes on to say how difficult saving a 20% deposit can be, but we shouldn’t tell our youth to think about how they spend their money e.g. Smashed avocado.
